"The Bad Boy in the Penalty Box" Mike Ficher, Tris "The Speaker" Reisfar, and "The Mailman" Chuck Malley offer the play-by-play, color commentary, player, coach, parents, guest and fan interviews and more from venerable Vince Genna Stadium for the WCL home games.

What listeners are saying about KPOV's broadcast of the Bend Elks' games!

Active Image"Hi Guys, would like to thank you so much for the broadcast of the Bend/Corvallis baseball game today. My son Liam Baron plays for the Knights, and it is not often that we can get a broadcast of the games. I am listening from Perth Western Australia. Thanks again you are doing a fantastic job." ~ Gail Baron

Active Image"Thanks guys for carrying the ballgames!  You guys are great! Anytime you want to come see us here in Anna, IL...you will be welcome! I am working on getting our mayor to call your mayor, Tris..." - Beth Hileman

"Your sportscasters were respectful of both teams and gave us listeners constant information on what was happening. It was a big step up from the broadcasts of most other places in the WCCBL." - Susan Blackwell

Active Image“Thanks for broadcasting the game.”  Ron Folkinga, Twin Falls, Idaho

“Thank you so much for the baseball broadcast. My son plays for the Bluejackets and there is nothing I would rather do than be there to see the game, that not being possible due to the four letter word "WORK" I can enjoy the game thanks to you and those who support your station. Thanks again from a proud father in Amarillo, Texas.” – Brad Propst, Sr, Amarillo, TX

"Just wanted you to know how much we appreciate your broadcast of the Bend Elks games.  We are actually parents of a Corvallis Knights player and they charge $10/game which is rather steep for an internet game.  Also, your game announcers for being volunteers do a great job.  They give good backround on players, good play by play and enough (but not too much) local flavor to keep the broadcast moving.  Thanks again." -- Ed Kalush

"Thank you for the broadcast!  This is the first game we have been able to listen to hear our boy Eddie Orozco pitch this summer and I thank you."--Kirk Weakly

"Thanks for your free broadcast of the Bend Elks.  We're listening from Salem where the Corvallis Knights broadcast fades in the evening.  You guys do a nice job." ~ Doug Tindall, Salem, OR

"Thank you broadcasting the Bend Elks baseball games this summer.  It was so much fun listening to them!  The whole show was first class!  My wife and I attended some games, but we listened to a lot over the internet too.  We really look forward to the broadcasts!  Thank you!" ~ Jim Clem
