KPOV’s mission is to educate, entertain and involve our community by giving voice to diverse cultures and viewpoints through high quality, low-power radio.  Our vision is to be a respected source of ideas, promoting an engaged, thoughtful community.

We need your support to achieve our mission and vision.

Although we are an all-volunteer station, we still need cash.  We have to pay cash for rights to play music, to buy insurance, to rent our studio space, to design and print materials for marketing and underwriting, and for a variety of other stuff that all small businesses need to survive. We also hired a part-time station coordinator in March 2006, to coordinate all the activities that go into running a radio station each day and make KPOV even better than it is today. And we need some cash reserves to deal with equipment maintenance and upgrades as we grow and unexpected emergencies.

Buy Underwriting on KPOV.
Underwriting is an on-the-air statement of support for KPOV. It is a great way to financially support KPOV and to get your business’ name heard by KPOV listeners. To learn more about underwriting, click here.

Sponsor a Fundraising Event.
We hold several events each year. Sponsorships are essential to the success of a an event—they cover the direct costs of the event so that any admission fees or other revenue generated at the event go directly to KPOV.
